J Taylor Ecology Consulting is a small independent ecological consultancy with a difference. Specialising in land use planning, our qualified  professional ecologists undertake ecological surveys and provide advice throughout the planning process, helping our clients gain planning consent at the earliest opportunity.

We can provide the full range of ecological reports and services often requried to accompany planning applications, from Preliminary Ecological Appraisals of a proposed development site to Protected Species Surveys and Ecological Mitigation. We have particular expertise in reptile and great crested newts. We can also provide Wildlife Protection and Management Plans that are often required to satisfy planning conditions, and conduct BREEAM Ecological Assessments to gain additional accreditation points.
